I am so excited to share this project that I have been working on for the last month or so! I present what I call “The Heritage series” ❤️

Here is the back story:

Back in January, my oldest had a shoot in Atlanta with Creative Soul Photography, that emphasized the beauty of her hair and skin color. This made me SO proud, proud that she was proud to be a beautiful black girl. And this got me thinking… The pride that I felt for my child to showcase her roots, can’t possibly be just a “black” thing! Everyone is proud of where they come from, and what better way than to show it thru their children?!
And this is how this idea came to be. I got to learn so much from each and every client, and I am so honored and humbled that this project was welcomed by so many. So thank you to the parents who participated and shared your children and your heritage with me!! I want every child that participates in this project to be proud of where they come from, and to never FORGET where they come from. Because it is absolutely beautiful ❤️ And thank you to CreativeSoul Photography for inspiring me!
