Blessing | Chicago Maternity Photographer

I always like to think that the Universe places people in your path of Life when you need them. We may think that we are in control, but in reality, there is a greater power larger than us that places people, and events in our lives to help us grow. And this beautiful mother-to-be is just one of the examples of this in my life. When she inquired about booking a maternity session, she had called after hours, if I remember correctly, it was close to 7pm. At this time, I am home and if I get any calls, I return them first thing in the morning. Well this particular evening, my children were fed, put to bed, and all things that needed to be done were done, and something told me to answer her phone call, and I did. When talking to her, she had explained that she had just gone thru a very difficult time and wanted to celebrate her pregnancy by doing maternity photos. I instantly felt a connection; and just seeing how everything fell into place, I knew that it would be a wonderful session; and that it was!! This is one of the greatest things of working in my field, I get to meet wonderful people and make them feel happy, even if it’s just for a little while. She reminded me why I love doing what I do so much, and that reminder feels good! In a few short weeks I will get to meet her new little bundle of joy, and I simply cannot wait!
