Maxwell | Chicago Newborn Photographer

Meet handsome Maxwell, that came to see me on his 9th day of life! He was so tiny and adorable, he made my heart melt as soon as I saw him!! The first portion of the session, he slept so deeply, and so peacefully. But as sleepy as he was for the first portion of the session, that was how wide awake he was for the second portion! I think he just wanted to hang out with me and see what was going on 🙂 He wasn’t fussy at all, just up, so I went ahead and posed him while awake! I can’t do this with every baby, but he was so chill that it worked out and I think his awake shots are *so* adorable. We ended the session with the prop shot that you see, where Maxwell went back to sleep, just enough time for me to capture that shot for his parents. The baseball bat is a genuine Louisville Slugger that was personalized with his name on it, and it was paired with his father’s old baseball.  Creating custom memories is my absolute favorite thing to do, and I am so happy that I get to do this on the daily basis… Congratulations to this new family of three and thank you for trusting Naja Lerus Photography with your memories!
