Meet beautiful Yemaya, who came to see my at just 7 days of age! I originally met her wonderful parents when I did their maternity session a few months back (see HERE) and Yemaya’s mom knew exactly the style she was going for for that photoshoot, so I wanted to bring a few elements and things back from that session, to incorporate in Yemaya’s newborn session. Little Yemaya was the sweetest little baby ever! I just fell in love with her delicate features, you can almost tell what she will look like as a young lady, she had such a matureness about her face already! People often say “they’ve been here before” when referring to new babies, and I totally thought this with Yemaya! Her eye contact was amazing and she had so much control over it at just 7 days out of the womb, it was very impressive! You can see what I am talking about in her awake shots I posted below, SO adorable!
