Avery & Delaney | Chicago Twin Newborn Photographer

Meet Avery and his twin sister Delaney, who came to see me on their 5th day of life!! They were SO precious!! I originally did a casting call looking for a baby boy to model my husband’s the latest creation, the itty bitty spaceship (He does most of my wooden props and is opening a prop shop, House of Wooden Props). But not only was I blessed to find the cutest baby boy model, but Avery also had a twin sister!!! So I invited them both to the studio, and Delaney modeled the itty bitty bed made by my husband and lace tutu set from The Knitting Bitty! And since they were both oh-so sleepy and adorable, I finished the session by posing them both in the egg that was created by both my husband and I.. Avery and Delaney both only weighed in at 5 pounds and were so perfect. They looked exactly alike, only Delaney’s features were more feminine.. I could have posed them for hours!! And they loved snuggling together which was so adorable, some twins don’t like it but they were so comfortable being next to each other… I suspect that they will be best friends forever!

Nova and Knox | Chicago Twins Newborn Photographer

Meet little miss Nova, and her twin brother Knox, who came to see me last week! They were born at 35 weeks of gestation, and they were 4 weeks old when I saw them. And the size difference was huge, Knox weighed over one pound heavier than Nova, she was so tiny!! These precious beings had a very special back story. They were born via surrogacy to a beautiful young woman who lives in Texas, but their parents live in the Chicago area. So their surrogate mommy wanted to capture them in all of their newness and hired me as their photographer, since she was coming to Chicago to visit family; and she would be able to see the babies while she was here too! She is one amazing young lady! What she did for this family was beyond amazing, and selfless, that even though I am probably about 10 years older than her, I am in total admiration of her. What an amazing human being she is. Thanks to her, a deserving family was able to make their family whole. Overall it was a session that I enjoyed very much. Nova and Knox are so loved.. And I know they will forever be “Aunt Jessie’s babies” 🙂

Jonah and Journee | Chicago Twins Newborn Photographer

Meet the most adorable twins ever, handsome Jonah and his twin sister Journee. They both came to see me on  their 12th day of life! I first met their parents when I did their maternity session a couple of months ago, they are absolutely gorgeous so I knew their babies would be just a beautiful; and they didn’t disappoint 🙂 Their mommy was able to keep them in her tummy until the end which was so awesome, and they both were almost 6 pounds!! And let me tell you, they did AH-mazingly well. It was so funny to see how two babies can be born at the same time, yet have such different personalities already. Jonah was the sleepy head, there was no waking him for anything, and Journee was wide awake, total opposite LOL! She wanted to see what was going on! But they were both so super sweet, and absolutely loved snuggling together for the pictures. Simply pure perfection. I suspect that they will be best friends forever.. Melts my heart.

Carter and Carson – Twins Newborn Photographer Chicago Illinois

Meet handsome Carter and Carson. These adorable twin boys came to see me at 2 weeks of age, and were so yummy and cute, and were *very* very good to me! From the time they came in until the time they left, I don’t think I saw either of their eyes! They did take one feeding break, but drifted right back off to dreamland right after. And smiles… OH the smiles they gave me!!!  I was joking with their mom that they were each trying to out do each other LOL! Every time Carter would smile, Carson would smile even bigger right afterwards; they were oh so cute!! The only way I could tell them apart was one weighed slightly more than the other, and one had a birth mark on his tummy. I really enjoyed having these two little guys in the studio, it was such a great session….
