Zia | Best Newborn Photographer in Chicago IL

Meet Zia, who absolutely melted my heart. Zia came to see me on her 9th day of life, and was as sleepy as they came!! She was my second newborn session of the day and she made my job so easy. She was squishy, and so soft with a head full of dark curly hair, she was the perfect newborn and I wanted to keep her LOL. This session will stand out as one of my most challenging though; not because Zia was a difficult baby or anything (because she was a dream!!) but her parents challenged my creativity by bringing in their own memorabilia that they wanted to be included in their session and I loved it! This is what makes each session so different! Dad used to be a College football player and is an ex-marine so he brought his old jersey and marine hat, and mom is a doctor so she brought in her graduating cap and gown, and I love how it all turned out! This was a very good session. Congratulations to this beautiful family of 3!

Fire | Chicago Fine Art Maternity Photography

This beautiful mommy to be right here!! I mean, come on! It should be illegal to look this good haha! I first met her almost 6 years ago, when I photographed her twin boys as newborns, so I was over the moon to hear that she was expecting again, no multiples this time though, just one handsome baby boy. She had this beautiful orange dress that she wanted to include in the shoot as she told me that orange was not only her favorite color, but that was her favorite dress too so it was a must to include it, and wow I am so happy we did! It looked amazing on her, she is nothing but belly!! What an absolute pleasure it was photographing her, and when her son is born in a few short weeks, I will have the honor of photographing him as well, I can’t wait!

Ryan | Chicago Gold Coast Newborn Photographer

Oh Ryan.. He melted my heart! Ryan Jr. came to see me on his 8th day of life, and was the absolute cutest ever, and was an amazing sleeper. I have done many many sessions over the course of my career, but this one will be one that I will always remember because of Ryan’s “big sister” , the CUTEST Yorkshire Terrier in the whole wide world. She was so calm and loves her little brother already, and just let her mommy put her down right next to her brother and she just sat there! I love this first picture so much that I turned it into a 20×30 canvas at the studio, I am obsessed with how cute the two look! Ryan slept thru the entire session and only woke up once to eat, he was pretty much a dream baby to work with. This was an amazing shoot from beginning to end. I photographed Ryan’s mommy when she was expecting him (see photos HERE), so I am extremely honored that I was chosen to capture their journey into parenthood, and to photograph their sweet boy. What a great job I have. Congratulations to this new family of 3 plus pooch!

Darria | Chicago Cake Smash Photography

It is not only a pleasure, it’s an absolute honor for me when my past newborn clients come back to me so I can photograph their baby for the First birthday shoot. And Darria did not disappoint! She still looked the exact same just taller 🙂 (see her newborn session HERE ) – My clients choose the theme for their sessions, and Darria’s mom wanted a carnaval theme. She gave me her colors and it was off from there! What a happy baby girl Darria was and I was obsessed with her chunky little self! Happy birthday sweet pea!
