Nahla | Professional Athletes Newborn Photographer Chicago Illinois

Meet 8 day old Nahla. Well, she isn’t this tiny anymore 🙂 This little ladybug is Chicago Bear’s Matt Forté‘s daughter, and I got to photograph her as a newborn back in March of this year. I truly wish to thank Matt and his beautiful wife Danielle for allowing me to share some of my favorite images from their session! They are truly the nicest and most genuine people you would ever want to meet!!

I also would like to give a shout out to Jamenda McCoy, owner of Belle Up Maternity, the absolute best upscale maternity boutique in the Chicagoland area, for putting me in contact with the Forté family! Isa | Lincoln Park Newborn Photographer

Meet beautiful, beautiful Isa (I LOVE her name!!). Isa came in at just 9 days of life, and I melted as soon as I saw her pretty little face. I knew it was going to be a good session. And it sure was! She was such a good baby, and oh-so squishy 🙂 She rocked her session from beginning to end. Her parents were amazing too! They brought in fresh flowers for me to incorporate in her session, something I had never done before, but may do more often because it brought something so different than I usually do, I loved it! They also had a teeny tiny tie-dye t-shirt that her mom wore as a newborn! That was pretty cool! And her mom was such a ray of sunshine, I seriously still love looking at her pictures, she was SO happy being a new mom, and it shows in every single image of her, I can’t help but smile and feel her joy 🙂 I have SO many favorites from this session that I just couldn’t pick a minimum amount, so I had to share them all 🙂

Meet 9 day old TJ. Oh was he a dream to work with!! He was such a good sleeper, only woke up once! A dream session that lasted right under 2 hours! His gallery was just too amazing for me not to share more than I usually do, I just couldn’t pick, I love them all!! So here are a “few” of my favorites from his session 🙂

Waiting for their surprise… | Chicago Beverly Maternity Photographer

Up next on the blog, is beautiful Erin. After a mishap with her first maternity session, her husband and her was simply AH-mazing in meeting for a reshoot. I can not thank them enough for their kindness; when I say that I truly have the best clients in the world, I really do. They were simply awesome. Now let me get to her belly. It was so round and cute!!! The day of the session, it was if all stars had aligned. The sun was out, the heat wave was gone (thank goodness), Erin looked phenomenal and her bump did too 🙂 Here are a few images from her session..

Waiting for him… | Blue Island IL maternity photographer

I am so behind on blogging, please forgive me! 🙂 Over the last month, I have had the honor to meet beautiful mamas-to-be, and I am excited to share one of them in this post. Christina was glowing, just absolutely gorgeous, expecting her sweet baby boy in a few short weeks. I will also be photographing him after he is born, and I am beyond excited. It is so wonderful for me to be able to follow mothers and help them freeze in time this moment, from belly to baby… Thank you Christina for choosing me to be your photographer!
