Mason | Oak Lawn Newborn Photographer
Meet handsome Mason, who came to see me on his 18th day of life! His mom and I decided to wait a little longer than the usual 10-12 day window to photograph him, because although he was born only a couple of weeks early, he was born close to under 5lbs so we wanted to give him a chance to gain a little weight. He still was teeny at his session in within the 5 pounds, but he was as sweet as could be! Smaller babies usually are more feisty as they are more sensitive to touch, but not Mason! He was a sweetheart from beginning to end and let me get thru every single pose, to give his mama a gorgeous gallery. The theme for his session was elephants, and his mom loved the colors yellow and gray so I made sure to incorporate her wishes and I love how it all came together! We finished with sibling and family shots, and I have to give a special shout out to Mason’s big sister, who did such an amazing job posing with her little brother; she was so proud of him and loves him so much!! What an amazing session…

Anthony | Newborn Photographer in Chicago IL
Meet 12 day old Anthony, that came to see me on his 12th day of life. Ohhh was he an absolute sweetheart!! Anthony slept like a champ from beginning to end, and was so squishy and adorable that I really did want to keep him for myself haha. He let me get thru pose after pose without making a peep! I was expecting him to be a beautiful baby, as I had photographed his cousin a few years prior, and she was *such* a stunning baby, I knew it had to run in the family; and he was as handsome as I knew he would be… What a great session it was, finished in record time, and he had a full gallery! His mommy brought in his daddy’s tie, and their big teddy bear for me to include in the session, and I HAD to include a pumpkin set up, because the session took place on Halloween so it was an absolute must have, and it all worked out so perfectly! I love each and every picture and this is why it was so hard to narrow them down for his blogpost! I truly have the best job in the world…

Reid | St Charles Newborn Photographer
Meet very handsome Reid, who came to see me on his 8th day of life! Oh his head full of hair got me! I was extremely honored that his mommy found me a year prior to even being pregnant with him; she had seen my TV interview on CBS2 Chicago and kept my information. Even though I was over an hour away from them, they still chose me as their photographer and I was so honored! Reid slept the entire time for his portion of the session, and was as sweet as can be! After a full session of posing on the beanbag, we moved to the prop shots; he did wake up but that was ok, because he had given me all of the sleepy shots I needed! We finished with the sibling and family shots, and he is the baby of the family, he has a big brother and a big sister, and they were so adorable together!! Huge congratulations to this new family of 5!

Lily | Oak Lawn Newborn Photographer
Meet the most precious baby girl ever, sweet little Lily, who came to see me on her 6th day earth side. Her parents are past clients, and I did their maternity and newborn session for their first baby daughter Nina (see Nina’s gallery *here) and Lily was as sweet as her big sister was for her session. Day 6 can be a little tricky, because it depends on when mama’s milk comes in if she is nursing, but all the stars were aligned for this session and everything was smooth sailing! Lily was as sweet as apple pie. Seriously she slept the entire time, and was so relaxed that she let me get thru every single setup without making a peep. She was an absolute dream baby!! She even flashed a couple of smiles for me and that melted my heart even more. We finished with the family portion, and big sister Nina wasn’t too fond of it so we made sure to make it fast. I still was able to capture beautiful pictures of the 2 sisters and family pictures, honesty they are such a gorgeous family it was really easy to do so! Thank you to Lily’s parents for choosing my studio once more, and I look forward to seeing Lily grow into a beautiful little girl!
