Bliss | Fine Art Maternity Photography in Chicago

Meet this beautiful couple that came to see me! Mom had booked this session a while back so I was excited to finally meet her! She wanted beautiful, yet simple fine art maternity photos so I knew I wanted to go with simple back lit images, that are stunning and timeless. They also had sweatshirts that had personal meaning to them of Barack and Michelle Obama, so we made sure to take some photos with those, and the elephant that has their precious baby girl’s heartbeat in it. I will also be meeting this little one for her newborn photos and I can’t wait! This couple was so fun, and a genuinely kind couple, and that made it so easy and effortless to work with them, and they are SO happy! There’s nothing like that first pregnancy experience. It’s pure bliss. The newborn session will be as amazing as this one, I already know!

Gorgeous | Chicago Fine Art Maternity Photographer

How about this beautiful mama that came to see me last week?!! She was absolutely stunning , she favored the supermodel Naomi Campbell and had the cutest little bump ever! I had a vision for an image that I wanted to create in my mind of a gorgeous mama wearing a gold “dress”, and wow, I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! I love when the perfect mama comes in and lets me try stuff 🙂 so now I will be offering this look, but on a limited basis. This mama embodied exactly why I love being a Chicago fine art maternity photographer. She brought everything to life, just perfect. Soon she will be the proud mommy of a precious baby boy, and I couldn’t be more happier for her.

Surprise | Blue Island Maternity Photographer

Surprise! This is what I titled this post, because this is what this session was! I was contacted by this gorgeous mom’s husband, who told me they were expecting their third baby, and after 2 boys, they were finally having their little girl, and his wife always wanted to get maternity photos done but never had the chance to, so we wanted to do something special for her and surprise her with this gift! It was the cutest thing ever. They drove up and she only found out once she was here! And I must say I was absolutely floored by her beauty, and could not believe that not only was she expecting baby #3, but she was also 37 weeks pregnant!! She rocked this session from beginning to end, and it was evident that she had done modeling before for sure! She made my job easy 🙂

The Art of pregnancy. It really, truly is an art to me. A woman is at her most beautiful, in my opinion, when she is carrying a new life inside of her, and that is what attracted me to this style of maternity photography! This beautiful mommy-to-be came to see me in her 34th week of pregnancy, and I was absolutely floored by her beauty! Tall, gorgeous, beautiful skin and hair, all paired with the cutest baby bump made for the best maternity pictures ever! And this is her 2nd baby, can you believe it?! She will soon be the proud mother of another little girl, and I know she will be as pretty as her mommy!
