Beau | Chicago Newborn Photographer

Meet handsome Beau, who came to see me on his 9th day of life! He personified his name, Beau in French means “handsome” and boy was he ever!! He had a head full of gorgeous brown hair, and had natural blond highlights!!! It’s almost unfair to come into this world that perfect already LOL! And he was as sweet as he was handsome. He was such a sleepy head, and let me pose, and pose, and pose him… His father is a tennis player, so a tennis set by The Knitting Bitty was a must! (She does custom lace orders for all of my newborn sessions). I told his parents that he had a Love bubble around him. He was so wanted and longed for, and is SO loved. And that Love his parents have for him was palpable. Beau’s mommy is also a photographer so his days in front of the camera are far from over, and I can’t wait to watch him grow into a handsome little boy…

Ethan | Newborn Photography in Chicago

Meet handsome Ethan, who came to see me on his 9th day. He was such a sweet heart, his mommy sent me a picture of him after he was born, and oh my goodness, I couldn’t wait to meet him! He had the cutest little face, dimples and the most gorgeous eyes I have ever seen on a baby! But honestly I knew he was going to be a gorgeous baby anyways, because his big brother was just as handsome, when I did his newborn session two years ago. Want to see for yourself? Click HERE! And what a joy it was for me to see Jacob again! He is now 2 years old, and a big brother! When it was his turn to take pictures with Ethan, he was SO proud of himself and kept telling everyone “I held the baby”, it was beyond adorable! What a fun session it was, and if you follow my work, you know that I love to create personalized setups for the parents, and in this case, Ethan and Jacob’s dad works in finance, so what better way to include this in Ethan’s session than having him in his father’s tie, with The Wall street Journal newspaper laying around him?! So cute! It’s always such an honor for me when my clients bring their second (and sometimes, third!) new baby for me to photograph, that’s what it’s all about. Creating family memories for a lifetime. Gosh, I love my job..

Zoë | Chicago Newborn Photographer

Meet Beautiful Zoë, who came to see me on her 12th day of life! Can I just stop and say how gorgeous she is?! Her beautiful chocolate skin complexion just made me melt!!! I might add that she kind of reminded me of myself as a baby 😉 I knew she was going to be a little beauty when I met her mommy a few months back, when I did her maternity session! Zoë had a head full of beautiful thick black hair, and was so good to me! As soon as she drifted off to sleep, she got thru every setup in record time! Her mommy wanted to see purples and pinks in her session, and these colors fit her beautifully, she looked so dainty and so delicate, like the princess that she is! Zoë’s parents also wanted pictures of her with her big brother, but he wasn’t able to come for her newborn session; so I had everyone come back a few days later for the family shots, which worked out perfectly. Her big brother sure does love her!!! It was really precious to watch. Congratulations to this new family of 4!

Logyn | Chicago Newborn Photographer

Meet gorgeous Logyn, who came to see me on her 11th day of life. I first met Logyn’s mommy when she  she came for her maternity session, and I absolutely could not wait to finally get to meet her new baby girl. When we did that session, she had a 3D ultrasound of baby Logyn, and it tickled me to see that she looked exactly like that picture! Technology is really something! Logyn was an absolute DREAM baby! She tried to stay awake at the beginning to see what was going on, but as soon as she fell asleep, she was the best baby poser ever, and let me get setup after setup, pose after pose. And she made the cutest little sighs ever, it was SO cute! I even had to post a sneak peek video of her on my Instagram page, just so adorable. Logyn’s parents wanted her to get pictures with her older siblings as well, and this is such a joy for me to do, so that everyone can be apart of the photoshoot, and they did amazing! I think Logyn looks just like her big sister! I want to say a big thank you to Logyn’s parents for choosing Naja Lerus Photography to capture her first days of life!!
