Meet beautiful Kaja, who came to see me on her 12th day earth side! Isn’t she a cutie?!! I already fell in love with her before meeting her based on her name alone, that is similar to my name, ha! Only her name is pronounced “Kay-ja” and mine is pronounced “Nah-ja” 🙂 Little miss Kaja was an absolute sweetheart, from beginning to end, and wasn’t fussy at all! The theme for her newborn session was “bling and diamonds” so I made sure to incorporate the fun girly things that I have in my prop stash!! She is definitely her mommy’s little princess! I really enjoyed every minute of working with this beautiful family, congratulations to this new family of 3!

Ethan | Newborn Photography in Chicago
Meet handsome Ethan, who came to see me on his 9th day. He was such a sweet heart, his mommy sent me a picture of him after he was born, and oh my goodness, I couldn’t wait to meet him! He had the cutest little face, dimples and the most gorgeous eyes I have ever seen on a baby! But honestly I knew he was going to be a gorgeous baby anyways, because his big brother was just as handsome, when I did his newborn session two years ago. Want to see for yourself? Click HERE! And what a joy it was for me to see Jacob again! He is now 2 years old, and a big brother! When it was his turn to take pictures with Ethan, he was SO proud of himself and kept telling everyone “I held the baby”, it was beyond adorable! What a fun session it was, and if you follow my work, you know that I love to create personalized setups for the parents, and in this case, Ethan and Jacob’s dad works in finance, so what better way to include this in Ethan’s session than having him in his father’s tie, with The Wall street Journal newspaper laying around him?! So cute! It’s always such an honor for me when my clients bring their second (and sometimes, third!) new baby for me to photograph, that’s what it’s all about. Creating family memories for a lifetime. Gosh, I love my job..

Skylar | Chicago Newborn Photography
Meet this little cutie patootie! Beautiful Skylar came to see me on her 11th day of life! Her mommy gets the award for the earliest booking I have gotten thus far, she booked her newborn session not too long after finding out she was pregnant! Now THAT is what I call being on top of things!! This session went amazingly well; Skylar was such a great baby and awesome sleeper, her session was done in a little over an hour, which is another record! When the babies come to see me and are so sleepy like Skylar was, oh man, I could sit and pose them all day! They are such joys to have in the studio and remind me why I love what I do so much. She let me play, and play! Starting November all the way thru December 25th, I ask my clients if they celebrate Christmas and if they want a holiday setup in their session. Skylar’s parents said they wanted one and I can’t even take how cute it came out!! Another shout out to my favorite vendor, The Knitting Bitty, who made the adorable lace Santa dress and matching sleeping cap! I really do have the best job in the world…

Nicholas | Chicago South Loop Newborn Photographer
Meet handsome Nicholas, who came to see me on his 11th day of life! I first met his parents when they came to see me 2 years ago when I photographed his big sister Juliette as a newborn (see her pictures HERE). It is always so much fun for me to see my repeat clients again, when they come with their new additions to their families, I love getting to see my baby clients as kids! Nicholas looked *just* like his sister too, it was insane! The only difference is Juliette is a girl and he is a boy (and weighed in 2 pounds heavier than she did!). Nicholas was so so cute, and such a cuddle bug! So much so, that as soon as he felt that he wasn’t being held anymore, he’d cry, so I had to pose him in my arms until I got him on my beanbag, to give him the impression of still being held 😉 We ended the session with sibling and family shots, and Nicholas’ big brother and sister did SO good, I was really proud of them, smiling from ear to ear the whole time. Now I did bribe them a few times, but hey, they worked for candy and did a great job at it too LOL! I can’t wait to see them again and to be able to watch Nicholas grow into a big kid… What a sweetheart he was..
