Meet the latest cutie patootie that came to my studio at just 7 days of age; little miss Rose! Her father is Chicago’s very own CBS 2 Lead Sports anchor Ryan Baker! I have been photographing this beautiful family since they were expecting and had their first daughter Grace 2 years ago, and I was so excited to be their chosen photographer once more, as they welcomed the new member of their family, beautiful Rose Virginia. Ryan and his wife Jessa had told me what her name was going to be ahead of time, as well as the color scheme, which was rose and gold (#rosegold is their used hashtag on IG) so I made sure to incorporate those colors; and also wanted to have something special for them, so I made a rose prop, just for her (first picture below) and I think Rose loved the rose as well, because as soon as I started shooting, she flashed that amazing smile 🙂 I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her, from her full head of beautiful hair, to the adorable peach fuzz on her shoulders.. She was perfect! She did wake up during her session and just wanted to hang out with me, and I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed with her eye contact!! At only 7 days old, she was following my every move!! They came back a few days later, to capture the sibling/family shots, and it was perfect.
