Meet handsome Corey, that came to see me on his 5th day of life! Really fresh from the womb! Weighing in at almost 9 pounds, he was such a chunker that I could have just sat there and held all day LOL. When he was sleep, he was in deep slumber, but once he woke up, that was it! He wanted to just stay and hang out with me and see what was going on. This made for some adorable awake shots for sure, as every move I made, he followed me with his eyes, which was surreal with him being so young! I tell my clients that the window to photograph their newborn is up to 3 weeks of age, but the reality is that some babies are born more alert than others, case and point with little Corey! I was so very happy to see him more on the younger side, because I could tell that had we waited even just another week, he would have been awake and very alert and I wouldn’t have been able to get these adorable sleepy shots for his mommy. Everything happens for a reason, I guess 🙂 What a sweetheart he was, and a joy to work with…
