Meet handsome Logan, who came to see me last week, at only 6 days earth side. Oh my word, I have to say, he is one the prettiest babies I have had in the studio! Weighing in at 9 pounds, he had a head full of thick black hair, and was just SO squishy and adorable. I can go on and on and find all of the synonyms for cute when I talk about it him, but I think I am going to leave it here and let his pictures speak for themselves. And not only was he a cutie, but he didn’t wake up not once during his session. I only got to see his eyes for maybe 10 minutes total. Logan was an absolute dream to work with. I really wanted to keep him, like for real 🙂

Nova and Knox | Chicago Twins Newborn Photographer
Meet little miss Nova, and her twin brother Knox, who came to see me last week! They were born at 35 weeks of gestation, and they were 4 weeks old when I saw them. And the size difference was huge, Knox weighed over one pound heavier than Nova, she was so tiny!! These precious beings had a very special back story. They were born via surrogacy to a beautiful young woman who lives in Texas, but their parents live in the Chicago area. So their surrogate mommy wanted to capture them in all of their newness and hired me as their photographer, since she was coming to Chicago to visit family; and she would be able to see the babies while she was here too! She is one amazing young lady! What she did for this family was beyond amazing, and selfless, that even though I am probably about 10 years older than her, I am in total admiration of her. What an amazing human being she is. Thanks to her, a deserving family was able to make their family whole. Overall it was a session that I enjoyed very much. Nova and Knox are so loved.. And I know they will forever be “Aunt Jessie’s babies” 🙂

Please meet beautiful Raffaella, who came to see me on her 21st day of life; exactly at the 3 week mark! Her mommy was so worried that she wouldn’t do well, and boy did Raffe show her! 🙂 She was the absolute best baby ever!! I really wanted to keep her and pose her all day long LOL. She had the most relaxed hands and just posed so well!! I first met her parents when I did their maternity session this past summer, and as you can see here, Raffe’s mommy is absolutely stunning herself, so it was a given that her little princess would be as pretty as her.. What a joy she was to have in the studio..

Meet handsome Jack!!! Jack came to see me on his 10th day of life, and weighed in at a whopping 9.5 oz when I met him! His beautiful mommy is ABC news reporter Jessica D’onofrio , and I first met her and her husband when we did their maternity session a few months ago! They were the absolute nicest couple ever, and I couldn’t have been more happier for them when Jack finally made his arrival, over a week late! What a trooper Jessica was!! And Jack was a DREAM baby to work with!! Pure perfection, from head to toe. He had the cutest chunky cheeks, and lovable rolls on his back, and was super duper sleepy, I wanted to just sit there and cuddle him instead of posing him LOL! The parents shots were a lof fun too!
