Meet little miss Nova, and her twin brother Knox, who came to see me last week! They were born at 35 weeks of gestation, and they were 4 weeks old when I saw them. And the size difference was huge, Knox weighed over one pound heavier than Nova, she was so tiny!! These precious beings had a very special back story. They were born via surrogacy to a beautiful young woman who lives in Texas, but their parents live in the Chicago area. So their surrogate mommy wanted to capture them in all of their newness and hired me as their photographer, since she was coming to Chicago to visit family; and she would be able to see the babies while she was here too! She is one amazing young lady! What she did for this family was beyond amazing, and selfless, that even though I am probably about 10 years older than her, I am in total admiration of her. What an amazing human being she is. Thanks to her, a deserving family was able to make their family whole. Overall it was a session that I enjoyed very much. Nova and Knox are so loved.. And I know they will forever be “Aunt Jessie’s babies” 🙂
