Harley | Newborn Photographer in Chicago

Say hello to miss Harley, who was one month old when she came to see me! My usual cutoff date to take newborns is usually 3 weeks, but her mom had explained to me that Harley was born at 35 weeks, so based on her gestational age at birth, thus being born early, the fit was perfect! Harley was pure perfection and still acted like a very new newborn, so sleepy and peaceful and didn’t make a single peep the whole session, even giving me THE biggest smiles I have ever seen in a session! She made me melt! I am so happy that her mom, while looking for a newborn photographer in Chicago, found me and followed my work! I want to extend a huge thank you to Harley’s mom for choosing my studio, and for sharing her sweet babe with me, it was an absolute successful session!

Victor | Chicago Sports Newborn Photographer

I present to you Victor, the cutest little future athlete that came to see me last week who was only 10 days old for his session. I first met Victor’s parents when I did their first newborn’s pictures, big sister Violet (see her pictures HERE) and I absolutely could not wait to meet their newest addition to the family. And Victor did not disappoint! He was a phenomenal baby, absolute putty in my hands! He peacefully slept the entire 3 hour session, he was a true little sleepy head and let me pose him with such ease, it was incredible! His mommy had been preparing for his session for months and wanted Chicago sports referenced in his session, so she ordered him a custom knit Chicago Cubs outfit by The Knitting Bitty, and I also used the Chicago Bulls lace outfit and basketball I had, and it all came together so perfectly! We finished the session with the family and sibling shot, and big sister Violet cooperated so well for her age! I was very proud of her! Congratulations to this beautiful family of 4!

Mason | Oak Lawn Newborn Photographer

Meet handsome Mason, who came to see me on his 18th day of life! His mom and I decided to wait a little longer than the usual 10-12 day window to photograph him, because although he was born only a couple of weeks early, he was born close to under 5lbs so we wanted to give him a chance to gain a little weight. He still was teeny at his session in within the 5 pounds, but he was as sweet as could be! Smaller babies usually are more feisty as they are more sensitive to touch, but not Mason! He was a sweetheart from beginning to end and let me get thru every single pose, to give his mama a gorgeous gallery. The theme for his session was elephants, and his mom loved the colors yellow and gray so I made sure to incorporate her wishes and I love how it all came together! We finished with sibling and family shots, and I have to give a special shout out to Mason’s big sister, who did such an amazing job posing with her little brother; she was so proud of him and loves him so much!! What an amazing session…

Anthony | Newborn Photographer in Chicago IL

Meet 12 day old Anthony, that came to see me on his 12th day of life. Ohhh was he an absolute sweetheart!! Anthony slept like a champ from beginning to end, and was so squishy and adorable that I really did want to keep him for myself haha. He let me get thru pose after pose without making a peep! I was expecting him to be a beautiful baby, as I had photographed his cousin a few years prior, and she was *such* a stunning baby, I knew it had to run in the family; and he was as handsome as I knew he would be… What a great session it was, finished in record time, and he had a full gallery! His mommy brought in his daddy’s tie, and their big teddy bear for me to include in the session, and I HAD to include a pumpkin set up, because the session took place on Halloween so it was an absolute must have, and it all worked out so perfectly! I love each and every picture and this is why it was so hard to narrow them down for his blogpost! I truly have the best job in the world…

Lane – Chicago Newborn Photographer

I am finally catching up on blogging, and have many cuties to show! This is gorgeous Lane, who came to see me on her 10th day of life. She was SO pretty!! She slept thru the first setup like a champ, but woke up shortly after, which made it a little more challenging but she did go back to sleep, but under one condition: she had to be held LOL. Makes it kinda difficult to pose and hold her at the same time 😉 so this just meant that I had to pull out my bag of tricks, and make her believe that she was still being held while on the beanbag! And it worked! She is her parents joy and is such a little angel, everyone is head over heels for her, including her big sister London, who got to take the cutest sibling pictures with her. We finished by getting a very special picture for her dad, he wanted an image of his baby girl resting in his hands, while showcasing his class ring from Michigan State, in a shot inspired by the picture I created 2 years ago with then Chicago Bear Jermon Bushrod with his Superbowl ring that he got with the Saints (*see that image HERE) Congratulations to this new family of 4!
